Takeshima

Summary

Takeshima is a Japanese Island which has been occupied by the Korean Army since 1953. It is located in the Sea of Japan. Recently, Takeshima became a serious territorial dispute between Japan and Korea. Lee Myung-bak, the then President of the South Korea, visited Takeshima on August 10, 2012. He was the first Korean President who visited the island. After this, many Japanese people began to know the real history of Takeshima, which is shocking enough to change the political position of Japanese people.
